M25 Road Widening : 2005 : Stars buy land to foil Heathrow third runway

Terminal 4 Underground station closed until September 2006

London Underground's Heathrow Terminal 4 station will be closed until September 2006. This is due to extensive works being necessary to allow for the extension of the Piccadilly line to Terminal 5, which is currently under construction.

Underground passengers travelling to Heathrow Terminal 4 should change at Hatton Cross underground station to a replacement bus service. This will run every five minutes in each direction, and will extend journey times by just five to ten minutes.

Extra staff and porters will be on hand at both Hatton Cross and Terminal 4 to help those passengers who require assistance.

For any further information regarding these works please pick up a leaflet at your local underground station.
